Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary students as a bilingual Spanish Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate in an educational environment, working with Pre-K through 5th-grade students. With a manageable caseload of 65, your expertise will be vital in helping young learners achieve communication milestones.
Your contract begins as soon as possible and continues through May 27th, with a weekly 37.5-hour schedule, starting at 7:45 a.m. and concluding by 3:45 p.m. each day.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Texas
- Proficiency in Spanish required
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and adhere to documentation requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with elementary-age children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades PK-5
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 65 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation compliant with school and state regulations
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Support educational access by addressing speech and language needs within the classroom setting
