Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Pennsylvania state certification required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered.
- School-based experience is valuable, though candidates from healthcare or other clinical environments are welcome.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
- Dedication to evidence-based practices, individualized education, and student advocacy.
- Ability to adapt to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments and therapy to K-4 students.
- Developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and working with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of services, progress, and reports.
- Consulting with teachers and families to offer strategies for supporting students’ communication goals in both academic and social settings.
- Attending professional development and staying updated on best practices in school speech-language therapy.
