Step into a meaningful, long-term contract position supporting a specialized student population as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll work in a highly collaborative environment alongside six other SLPs and a robust team of behavior therapists. The setting serves two distinct programs: one for students in preK-8 and another for those ages 9-22, both with a focus on individuals with autism and behavioral needs. The caseload remains manageable and support is abundant, ensuring you can make a significant impact while working closely with dedicated colleagues.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with high-needs populations such as autism and behavior disorders
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to student needs and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Dedication to fostering progress and meaningful engagement in each student’s learning journey

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to a small, high-needs caseload in both ESY and NSY settings
  • Collaborate with other SLPs, behavior therapists, teachers, and support staff
  • Complete evaluations, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP development
  • Participate in team meetings and staff trainings
  • Provide therapy and interventions tailored to support communicative, academic, and social development

Schedule Details:

  • ESY: July 1 – July 24, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–2:00PM
  • NSY: August 12 – November 1, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–3:30PM
  • Candidates able to start July 1st are encouraged; will consider later starts
