A rewarding contract opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with school-based experience to support a diverse student population in a highly collaborative setting. This long-term substitute assignment begins as soon as you’re available and extends through November 2026, with built-in opportunities for both extended school year (ESY) and regular school year (NSY) services.
Join a supportive team in a single location specializing in two distinct programs: one serving preK-8 and another for students aged 9 through 22. The caseload is intentionally kept small but focused on students with significant needs, including those on the autism spectrum and with behavioral challenges. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY considered
- Eligible for, or holding, appropriate state licensure
- Prior experience in school settings, especially with high-needs populations (autism, behavioral)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to respond proactively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop IEP-driven goals, and deliver direct therapy services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain timely and compliant treatment records and reports
- Adapt strategies to meet individualized needs in both ESY (July 1–24, 8am–2pm) and NSY (Aug 12–Nov 1, 8am–3:30pm) schedules
