Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes (direct therapy, consultation, progress monitoring)
- Skilled in conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations, including comprehensive reports
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage a caseload with multiple classifications and adapt to shifting priorities
- Comfortable with duties that may include lunch or bus supervision
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct SLP instruction or consultative services as outlined in student IEPs
- Complete initial and re-evaluations, compiling all necessary documentation and narrative reports
- Prepare and submit trimester progress updates for each student on your caseload
- Participate in annual review meetings and collaborate closely with educators and families
- Foster students’ communication, language, and social skills within the school community
- Assist with school responsibilities such as lunchroom monitoring or bus duty, as needed
This position runs from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm, offering a stable, full school day schedule throughout the assignment period.
