Key Qualifications:

  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or relevant SLPA credentials required
  • Current state licensure for SLPs or SLPAs in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Collaborative spirit and passion for supporting middle school learners

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students on your caseload
  • Conduct assessments and develop or adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust interventions
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a knowledgeable team member
