Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Connecticut Department of Health License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut Teacher Certification 061
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in Pre-K through high school
  • Conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
  • Deliver therapy sessions in both group and individual settings
  • Consult with classroom staff to support student language, articulation, fluency, and social communication development
  • Maintain detailed records of services, progress, and compliance with district and state regulations
