Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia SLP license (required)
- GaPSC Educator Certification (required)
- SLP-CCC preferred; SLP-CFYs will also be considered
- Previous school-based experience in SLP settings strongly desired
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
- Commitment to working onsite (teletherapy candidates will not be accepted)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Participate in Multi-Disciplinary and IEP team meetings, offering clinical insights and support
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs and progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals to advance student outcomes
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented school environment
