Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 school year! This is an onsite-only role perfect for professionals passionate about making a measurable impact in school-based speech-language pathology.
Your assignment will span from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027, for 37.5 hours per week. Two distinct roles are available:
- The first covers one elementary and one middle school building, providing varied experience across age groups.
- The second supports two middle schools, allowing focused attention on adolescent speech and language needs. Caseloads range from approximately 45-55 students, offering a manageable and fulfilling workload.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with credentials for school settings
- Previous experience working in elementary or middle school populations is highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering students' success in communication and learning
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with student IEPs
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple buildings
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings
