School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Hammond, Indiana

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
• Previous experience in a school environment is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students ages pre-K through 12
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech/language needs
• Provide direct therapy services, working in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support academic and communication success
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of assessments, progress, and compliance requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
