Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though CFYs are welcome to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 schools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and related services staff
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility, goal development, and progress reporting
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language issues and best practices
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that celebrates student growth
