Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This onsite, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population during the academic year, providing essential speech and language services that foster growth and success.

Bring your expertise and compassion to a collaborative team dedicated to inclusive education. You'll engage with students, families, and staff, creating individualized plans that empower learners from early elementary to high school. The assignment runs from September 2 through June 25, following a family-friendly schedule of 7:45 AM to 3:20 PM, Monday through Friday.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Valid SLP license for New York State
  • Experience working with K-12 populations—previously in schools or pediatric settings
  • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Conduct assessments and interpret data to inform individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation services in both group and individual settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements
  • Communicate progress and strategies with parents, teachers, and allied professionals
