School Speech Language Pathologist - Hampton, VA

Make an impact supporting students’ communication growth for the 2026-2027 school year as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time contract opportunity involves providing comprehensive services to a diverse population of kindergarten through 12th-grade students in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, engaging with teachers, families, and administrators to foster student achievement and progress.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders for K–12 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP/504 goals in collaboration with school teams
• Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services, adapting strategies to meet varied student needs
• Accurately document interventions, progress, and outcomes
• Provide guidance and resources to educators and families to maximize student support
• Participate in professional development and team meetings

Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings highly valued
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and SLPA backgrounds are welcomed
