Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Hampton, Virginia

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP roles preferred
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations from kindergarten through high school
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based treatment plans for students with communication and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services, tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding progress, treatment, and communication with stakeholders
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
