Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP roles preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations from kindergarten through high school
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based treatment plans for students with communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services, tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding progress, treatment, and communication with stakeholders
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
