Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Virginia SLP license
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred, but CFY applicants are encouraged)
  • Experience in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to students in individual and group sessions across the K-12 setting
  • Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and communicate results with parents and educators
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support IEP goals and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Provide guidance to support staff, teachers, and administrators on speech and language development
