Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt to varying student needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Provide therapy services in both individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay current with best practices
