Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • School-based or pediatric experience highly desired
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy sessions
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create successful learning environments
  • Maintain compliant and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
