Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP documentation and compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and determine appropriate service recommendations
  • Develop, update, and implement IEP goals according to students’ individual needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to educators and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, data, and progress notes in compliance with federal and state educational standards
  • Consult and collaborate with school staff to support student learning and ensure appropriate accommodations
  • Use a variety of evidence-based techniques and materials to engage students
