This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist committed to supporting communication and academic success. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, at Moravian Elementary. With a consistent weekly schedule of 24 hours across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, you’ll collaborate with a supportive school team and help students thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience providing speech services in schools highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational staff to facilitate student success
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staffings, and professional development as needed
