This full-time, 12-week contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact during a vital period of development. The assignment entails providing onsite coverage for a maternity leave, working with approximately 50 students ranging from PreK to 4th grade.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Current educator certification
  • Previous experience with school-based SLP services preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied student needs in PreK-4th grade

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in both group and individual settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop tailored treatment plans in alignment with student IEPs and school guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor, track, and communicate student outcomes effectively
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, onsite position for approximately 12 weeks
  • Assignment dates are from early January through mid-March, with possible adjustments
  • Single coverage role supporting a close-knit school community and dedicated staff
