Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY applicants)
- Valid state licensure and/or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Recent experience in school-based settings (preferred, not required)
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering student development and educational progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with various speech, language, and communication needs across K-12 grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Consult and coordinate intervention strategies with teachers, counselors, and parents
- Maintain thorough records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements
- Provide guidance and support for classroom strategies to enhance communication and learning
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development
