Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two onsite SLPs are needed to provide essential speech and language services across elementary, middle, and high schools, working within a variety of support programs. This opportunity allows you to make a daily difference in both regular education and specialized settings.
You will work with collaborative teams and have an impact on students' communication and learning, with responsibilities split between elementary caseloads (supporting regular ed and autistic support, approx. 50-55 students, including some case management) and secondary caseloads (serving middle and high schools, learning support, life skills, and autistic support, minimal case management, caseload up to 60, many on reduced service plans).
Employment runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a consistent work week of 35 hours. All services will be delivered onsite, districtwide—no virtual assignments during this contract.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification and Teaching Certificate (must be submitted with your resume)
- SLP-CCC credentials and experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with both elementary and secondary caseloads, including special education and autistic support
- Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage student needs
- Ability to adapt support models for diverse student populations
Your core responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and support for K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialized staff
- Manage documentation and minimal case management as assigned
