Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services within a supportive K-12 educational environment. Two onsite speech-language pathologists are needed for a contract assignment running from August 18, 2026 through May 27, 2027, supporting elementary through high school students. You’ll serve students in a district-wide role, working collaboratively with educational teams and impacting diverse caseloads across several schools.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification and Teaching Certificate (please provide with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience delivering speech therapy in K-12 or educational settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing caseloads ranging from 50-60 students, including students receiving regular education, learning support, life skills, and autistic support
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills; must be adept at collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Experience with both traditional and reduced service delivery models is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to assigned caseloads (elementary up to 55 students, middle/high school up to 60 students)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations, write reports, and contribute to development and monitoring of IEPs
- Provide case management duties as assigned, focusing more heavily at the elementary level
- Work collaboratively in an onsite school-based setting – remote options are not available for this assignment
- Support students with diverse needs, including those in general education, autistic support, and life skills programs
