Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hanover, PA

Empower student communication and make a lasting impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist working with an engaging K-12 population. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support multiple schools across a district, fostering growth in speech and language for students of all ages.

Step into a vital role for the 2026-2027 school year, from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a steady 35-hour-per-week schedule. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to deliver direct therapy, conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and support students throughout their journey to communication success.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
• Current PA Teaching Certificate (submit both with your resume)
• Previous experience in a school setting or with K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a district-wide, onsite schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grades
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special services staff
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state reporting requirements
• Travel between multiple buildings within the district as needed (no virtual sessions at this time)
