Make a difference supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with a rewarding part-time opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract role is based near Hanover, PA and focuses on providing exceptional support to K-6 students with speech and language needs. With a manageable caseload of 25-30 students—most requiring speech-only services and some with dual diagnoses—you’ll help students achieve their communication goals in an encouraging, collaborative environment.

Enjoy a predictable schedule working two days per week, ideally on Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with instruction running from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current PA State License required
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • Background working with executive functioning, social learning, and selective mutism preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPWriter and Synergy platforms considered a plus
  • School-based or pediatric caseload experience optimal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with district guidelines
  • Offer culturally responsive services to meet the needs of a bilingual and diverse student population
