In this rewarding assignment located near the Hanover, PA region, you’ll work alongside dedicated educators and help students build crucial speech and language skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLP applicants
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred for SLPs; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also welcomed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field for SLPA candidates
  • Appropriate state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is beneficial
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique goals and abilities
  • Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support generalization of speech-language skills in the classroom setting
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
