Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred, but strong CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adjust therapy based on student needs
  • Organized, team-oriented, and ready to make a difference

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech/language interventions into classroom settings
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and document student progress
  • Provide education and resources to support academic success and social development
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
