Speech-Language Pathologists have an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. Multiple positions are available to deliver vital early intervention services in person for students located in the Enola, Harrisburg, and Summerdale areas. This contract role offers full-time hours, working across diverse settings within the district to address the unique needs of preschool and elementary-aged students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure for Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
- Previous experience with early intervention caseloads preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for early learners
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, other specialists, and families to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and federal compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Offer services across various settings, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to individual student needs
