This full-time role offers the opportunity to support a caseload of 34 autistic students, with hours set from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM, running from ASAP through June 4, 2026. You’ll work in a collaborative educational environment located near Harrisburg, PA, making a difference for students daily.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience supporting students on the autism spectrum, especially at the elementary level
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
- Commitment to compliance with federal and state special education laws and district guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and therapy plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure aligned support and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert input and recommendations
- Provide training and support to staff and families as needed
- Ensure all compliance and documentation requirements are met
