Speech Language Pathologist in Harrisburg, PA

This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with 34 students, providing essential speech-language support that empowers academic achievement and social growth.

Your day will run from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 4, 2026. As a valued team member, you’ll play a vital role in helping children overcome communication challenges, enabling them to thrive in their classroom and with peers.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP licensure
• Previous experience or strong interest in serving children with autism
• Able to manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload
• Familiarity with school-based assessments, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
• Collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Organized, compassionate, and dedicated to student success

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to identify communication needs for students with autism
• Developing individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and social communication
• Providing direct and consultative services within the school environment
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintaining documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
• Supporting students in both academic and social settings to maximize participation
