Step into a rewarding opportunity to support elementary-aged students with autism by providing expert speech-language therapy services. This contract position runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year, with full-time hours from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM, Monday through Friday. You’ll make a difference in the lives of 34 bright students by helping them overcome communication barriers and thrive in their academic and social environments.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP licensure and certification relevant to Pennsylvania schools
  • Experience in school-based settings and working with students on the autism spectrum
  • Strong knowledge of assessment protocols and therapeutic interventions for speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for supporting students’ growth in diverse settings

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide targeted interventions to help students meet academic and social goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, occupational therapists, parents, and support staff to ensure integrated care
  • Regularly monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Apply evidence-based strategies tailored to meet each student’s unique needs
