Make a positive impact on elementary students’ lives by providing expert speech and language services for a contract position available for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support a caseload of 34 autistic students, with hours set from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM, running from ASAP through June 4, 2026. You’ll work in a collaborative educational environment located near Harrisburg, PA, making a difference for students daily.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience supporting students on the autism spectrum, especially at the elementary level
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Commitment to compliance with federal and state special education laws and district guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions and therapy plans
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with educational teams to ensure aligned support and strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert input and recommendations
  • Provide training and support to staff and families as needed
  • Ensure all compliance and documentation requirements are met
