Contract opportunities are available for passionate, dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a fulfilling, school-based position. This role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2027, providing stability and the chance to develop meaningful relationships with students and staff.
In this full-time, onsite position, you’ll work 35 hours per week, serving elementary caseloads. Flexibility is important, as you may be splitting your time between two school sites. A handful of openings are available, offering the chance to collaborate with peers and support a variety of learners. Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants will be considered if supervision can be arranged, with active CCCs preferred and strongly encouraged to apply. For CFs, district supervision options are limited but possible depending on supervisor availability. Please note, SLPAs are not being considered for these roles.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut
- Experience in school-based settings
- Ability to manage elementary caseloads and adapt between sites as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- CCCs highly valued (but CFs welcome with supervision available)
- Comfort with online interviewing (Zoom)
- Ability to complete district fingerprinting and background checks prior to start
- Upfront licensing paperwork preferred to support a smooth onboarding process
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Develop and implement IEP goals and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district protocols
- Attend school/site meetings as required
