This full-time position (1.0 FTE) focuses on supporting learners in grades 6 through 8, providing essential services in a dynamic and collaborative setting near Hartford, CT. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP certification with CCC’s required
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those in grades 6-8
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a range of developmental levels (K-12 background helpful)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Current knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy for students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Deliver evidence-based direct therapy and consultation services to students in group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and communication goals
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and required reports
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and program planning as needed
