Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
  • Prior experience working with high school-aged students preferred
  • Skilled in assessments, developing IEPs, and providing direct therapy
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Current licensure to practice as an SLP

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Work collaboratively with educational staff to support students’ academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in relevant meetings and collaborate with family members regarding student progress
