Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience within school settings, preferably across varying grade levels
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions to meet IEP goals for students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
  • Demonstrated understanding of special education requirements and processes

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address speech, language, and communication needs
  • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation aligned with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service staff to maximize student potential
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing specialist input and progress updates
  • Provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
