Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate state licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children across K–12 (elementary, middle, and high school ages)
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education protocols
  • Ability to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with school staff and engaging with parents
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication services for students ranging from grades K through 12
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to identified student needs
  • Perform assessments and collaborate on the creation and implementation of IEPs
  • Consult and problem-solve with teachers, aides, and families to maximize student progress in both classroom and remote settings
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date records in accordance with school and federal requirements
  • Participate in school team meetings and ongoing professional development
