The position is full-time, running from ASAP through the end of the school year, serving students in grades K-12. You’ll be part of a close-knit educational community, typically working across 2-3 classrooms with small group sizes, ensuring you can make a real impact on each student.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license (CT state licensure preferred or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school-based settings (K-12 preferred)
- Ability to manage caseloads independently—no SLPAs on site
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in diverse educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students across assigned classrooms (6-8 students per room)
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other education professionals
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Support the language and communication needs of students in creative ways
