Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with elementary-grade students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to create and adapt individualized treatment plans for varying student needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students on your caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions, adapting techniques to student needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and school policies
