Step into a rewarding maternity leave role supporting young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule and the chance to make a positive impact with early childhood through third grade students. You’ll provide essential speech and language services during an approximately 8-week coverage period, beginning around late October.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and required state licensure
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Skills in teletherapy, early childhood, and healthcare SLP a plus
  • Comfortable working with EC-3rd grade students in both individual and group settings
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy sessions using a 3:1 service model—three weeks direct, one week consult/documentation
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with educational team members
  • Support a diverse caseload; Friday schedules may be lighter, with potential for shortened hours
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to foster student growth in language, articulation, and social communication
  • Maintain comprehensive records and communicate progress with staff and families
