This full-time contract position is suited for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking an engaging role for the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs August 2026 through June 2027 and offers the unique experience of working equally at both a special education preschool and an elementary school.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Experience providing SLP services in a school setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain one before the start date.

Primary Duties:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Serve preschool and elementary students in both group and individual settings.
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular reports on treatment outcomes.
  • Consult with teachers and staff on communication support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings, as needed.
