This full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity serves students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade and Junior High in a K-12 school setting. The position is a contract leave assignment beginning January 5, 2026, through March 16, 2026. The role offers guaranteed hours and the ability to provide both direct and indirect speech therapy services without any additional district responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pickup.

Located in Harvard, IL, this position welcomes licensed Speech Language Pathologists, including those with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) professionals, and therapists specializing in school-based services. Travel therapists are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for stipends, enhancing the value of this assignment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification/license appropriate for school settings
  • Experience and comfort working with K-3rd grade and junior high students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to provide individualized speech and language services aligned with school protocols
  • Eligibility for CCC, CFY, or relevant school speech pathology credentials

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to students during contracted hours
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
