Speech Pathology - Harvest, AL

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year maternity leave opening in Harvest, AL. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to provide essential speech and language services in an educational setting, supporting students’ communication development from August through October.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students to identify areas of need
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress discussions

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP certification (CCC-SLP) required
• School-based SLP licensure or eligibility preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children in educational environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
• No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) available for support during this contract

• Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week)
