Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in Alabama
• Clinical experience supporting children and/or adolescents in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and services provided
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success across educational settings
• Participate in team meetings, professional trainings, and collaborative planning
• Adapt interventions and supports to meet the varied needs of multiple age groups, from early learners to high school students
