Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in Alabama
- Clinical experience supporting children and/or adolescents in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and services provided
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success across educational settings
- Participate in team meetings, professional trainings, and collaborative planning
- Adapt interventions and supports to meet the varied needs of multiple age groups, from early learners to high school students
