Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student care plans
• Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
• Manage a varied caseload that may include elementary, middle, and/or high school students
