Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (CFY and CCC considered)
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Prior experience in a school or healthcare setting highly valued
  • Compassionate communicator skilled at connecting with preteens and school staff
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid organizational skills to manage caseloads and required documentation
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and motivated to foster student growth and engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in students grades 5-7
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service staff to support holistic student development
  • Maintain thorough progress records, and participate in IEP meetings and ongoing evaluations
  • Provide consultative support and resources for staff to facilitate inclusive classroom practices
  • Contribute to a positive, growth-centered school culture
