Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-27 school year, making a genuine difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist across vibrant communities near Havelock, NC—with accessible placements in PreK, elementary, and middle/high school settings. Applicants with SLP-CCC credentials and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are both encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position, and you’ll serve a caseload of approximately 50-55 students spread across a range of age groups and school environments.
Your expertise will support students in Vanceboro, New Bern, Havelock, and neighboring areas, bringing vital services to a diverse regional student population. Interviews are being scheduled now for enthusiastic SLPs eager to grow professionally and positively impact young lives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC or eligible CFY status required
- Experience providing therapy in PreK, elementary, and/or secondary school settings
- Skilled in pediatric speech-language evaluation and intervention
- Ability to adapt services for both in-person and teletherapy models
- Strong collaboration skills for working with special education staff, families, and administrators
- Familiarity with varied caseloads and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and voice assessments
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate on IEP development with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver therapy services in person and via teletherapy, as needed
- Monitor progress, document sessions, and communicate outcomes to families and staff
- Participate in professional development and school-based meetings
