Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license for schools or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process and experience working with students in school-based settings
  • Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-12 students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
