Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are also encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working in a school environment highly desirable
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Assess and document students’ progress, maintaining compliant records and preparing necessary reports
- Partner with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic skills
- Deliver both individual and group therapies tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the integration of speech/language goals into the curriculum
