Key Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, preferably K-12
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Capacity to adapt instruction to students' varying needs and learning styles
- Commitment to upholding professional, ethical standards
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to children and adolescents across multiple grade levels
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Offer consultation and support to staff regarding speech and language concerns
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
