Grades 9 - 12 K-5 School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hawthorne, New York

Exciting opportunities are available for certified Speech-Language Pathologists interested in supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Openings include a full-time position, a part-time schedule with flexible days, and a maternity leave coverage role (estimated July through October). These contract roles will provide vital services to students ages 5-21, including individuals with autism, in a supportive, collaborative school setting near Hawthorne, NY.

Your expertise will be valued as you deliver direct therapy and help shape positive communication outcomes for students at varying developmental stages. The workday runs from 8:30am to 2:00pm, featuring approximately 10 sessions daily, and a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current, valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working across grades K-12
• Previous background supporting students with autism (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices such as TouchChat, LAMP, and Proloquo
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in managing different caseloads and clinical documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to students with a variety of communication needs
• Accurately maintain daily treatment notes and monthly attendance (CM2) records
• Complete quarterly and annual progress reports, IEP drafts, and conduct self-audits of clinical notes
• Collaborate with educational teams and families to enhance student communication outcomes
