A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed for a contract position beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. This role primarily supports a caseload of 35-45 students, mainly from the 9th grade population, providing essential speech and language services. The position is structured for four days a week, allowing focused engagement with students in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with adolescent populations, particularly in secondary education
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills for speech and language disorders
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while delivering individualized therapy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families

- Position is located in Hayward, California
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language impairments for approximately 35-45 students, focusing mainly on 9th graders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and service delivery
