Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire adolescent learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload primarily consisting of ninth graders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student goals
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with IEP requirements
  • Provide guidance during IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
