Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and inspire adolescent learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload primarily consisting of ninth graders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student goals
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with IEP requirements
- Provide guidance during IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
