Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active CCC-SLP certification from ASHA
- Appropriate state licensure for school-based SLP practice
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to partner effectively with teachers, counselors, and family members
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students’ goals and needs
- Provide direct therapy interventions both individually and in small groups
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation and progress reports as required by district guidelines
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP meetings, and school-based interdisciplinary teams
- Offer recommendations and resources to support student progress across classroom settings
