Desired Qualifications:

  • Active CCC-SLP certification from ASHA
  • Appropriate state licensure for school-based SLP practice
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to partner effectively with teachers, counselors, and family members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using standardized assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students’ goals and needs
  • Provide direct therapy interventions both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation and progress reports as required by district guidelines
  • Participate in parent meetings, IEP meetings, and school-based interdisciplinary teams
  • Offer recommendations and resources to support student progress across classroom settings
  • Stay current with best practices and professional development in school-based speech-language pathology
