Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, parents, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services and monitor students’ progress
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise as needed
  • Offer consultative support to classroom teachers and other professionals
