School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hayward, California

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with school-age children, including IEP development and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students with speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services in a school setting
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
