Take part in supporting students’ communication and language development in a dynamic school environment near Hayward, CA. This contract position provides opportunities for both full and part-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). With a caseload of up to 65 for full-time, you’ll work closely with a diverse group of learners, positively impacting their school experience.
This role offers flexibility—choose a schedule that fits your needs, with assignments available for the 2025-2026 school year or to start as soon as possible. Enjoy a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week if opting for full-time, with no more than one or two school locations throughout your contract.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Collaborative mindset and a passion for student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
- Provide services to a manageable caseload within one or two schools
