Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hayward, CA

Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a lasting difference for students in the Hayward, CA area. This assignment offers flexibility, with both full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time options available, and a manageable caseload of up to 65 students for full-time providers. You’ll support students’ communication and language development in a collaborative educational environment, working at just 1–2 school sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license for California, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Recent school-based SLP experience or strong interest in a school setting
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and needs
• Passion for working with children and fostering their academic and social success

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy and consultation services
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide support for a diverse student population, including those with speech-language impairments and related needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process
