Step into a meaningful opportunity as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise will make a direct impact on K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. This role is ideal for a professional who values relationship-building within a single school community and is passionate about delivering high-quality speech and language interventions.

This assignment runs from August 13th to June 5th, with a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 37 to 41 students, enabling you to provide focused, individualized support. All services are delivered at one convenient school site, allowing you to form strong, consistent connections with students and staff throughout the year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for students
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Engage in school-based meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
