Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ communication development in a rewarding school-based setting. In this contract role, you will work full-time, dedicating 37.5 hours per week to provide speech and language support to a diverse K-12 caseload of approximately 37-41 students. The assignment spans from August 13th to June 5th within a single school location, fostering continuity of care and allowing you to build strong rapport with students and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Valid California state licensure as an SLP
  • Experience with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support students’ academic and social success
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress, evaluations, and case management
  • Support a varied group of learners in one school location, enabling consistent, high-quality services
