Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll make a real difference in one school location while connecting with a dynamic caseload of approximately 37-41 students. The assignment runs from August 13th to June 5th, offering a stable, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
In this role, you’ll use your expertise to assess, diagnose, and develop personalized therapy plans that address each child’s communication needs and help them thrive academically and socially. Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families, you'll ensure every student receives the individualized attention and support they deserve.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with K-12 school populations (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create and implement evidence-based IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students in individual or group settings
- Maintain detailed progress notes and comply with documentation requirements
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and proactively communicate with educators and families
- Deliver services in line with students’ IEPs and ensure compliance with all school and district policies
