A K-12 public school in Hayward, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to join their team for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers a part-time schedule (.6 FTE), working three days per week, serving primarily elementary students with a small caseload.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering therapy services to support communication development
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participating in team meetings as required
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
