Speech-Language Pathologist in Hayward, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Hayward, CA. This contract role will support a caseload of PreK-8th grade students across 2-3 sites, serving up to 55 students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on student evaluations and assessments
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with special education regulations and timelines
• Conduct screenings and formal evaluations as needed to identify student needs

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
• Experience working with students from PreK through middle school age
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students across multiple school sites
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and special education laws
