A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Hayward, CA. This contract role will support a caseload of PreK-8th grade students across 2-3 sites, serving up to 55 students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on student evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with special education regulations and timelines
- Conduct screenings and formal evaluations as needed to identify student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience working with students from PreK through middle school age
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students across multiple school sites
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and special education laws
