School Speech Language Pathologist - Hayward, CA

Make a meaningful difference this upcoming school year by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Hayward, CA. This full-time, contract opportunity runs throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, offering the chance to positively impact young learners across multiple school sites.

You’ll work with a diverse caseload of up to 55 students, ranging from PreK through 8th grade, across 2-3 locations. This is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about school-based speech-language services, looking to develop their skills while fostering student growth.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• Recent experience with school-aged populations, preferably PreK-8th grade
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation requirements
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively across multiple locations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CCC-SLP preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Deliver therapy both individually and in group settings
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed
